Earth Day Goes Mobile!

Happy Earth Day! Today we celebrate the 41st Earth Day in the United States. Here’s how some of our clients are celebrating the day – and doing great things for the environment year-round too.

The Alliance for Climate Education consistently reaches out to high school students to educate them on environmental issues. Their “Do One Thing” campaign encourages people to do one simple thing to help the environment. By texting DOT to 30644, students can pledge their one thing to help the Earth.

And this Earth Day, ACE is matching donations dollar for dollar to their cause:

The Sierra Club, always a leader in protecting our environment, has launched a NO COAL campaign in coordination with last weekend’s Power Shift in DC:

On Earth Day, they are asking supporters to take a green pledge to be entered into a sweepstakes for a trip to the Carribean. (Going green and going tropical? Sign us up.)

Do Something, who works to get youth involved in causes for change, is planning a “week without oil scavenger hunt” May 9th – 15th. If you text “OIL” to 30644, you’ll receive a text message with your first mission on May 9th.

We’re proud to work with organizations like these who are working to protect our environment. On this Earth Day, we’re thinking about what we can do to celebrate.

What will you do?
