On the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks,we remember with gratitude the emergency workers who risked their lives that day – and who continue to risk their lives to keep us safe. To honor them, DoSomething.org has partnered with Mobile Commons to create Decade of Thanks, an online interactive collection of thankful messages.
Users can log in to the website to add their personal messages, or send them from cell phones by texting DECADE to 38383. The messages are updated in real time on a map showing the location of the many people who want to express their gratitude to emergency service workers.
