Text messaging is a fantastic way to collect data via polls, surveys, and quizzes. You can get instant feedback from your audience, whether you’re running a conference, a radio station promoting an interactive quiz, a labor union asking your members for their opinions, or marketing in-venue contests at a sports stadium.

For years, organizations have used Mobile Commons to gather information such as name, email, address, and an unlimited number of custom fields. But setting up a complex survey has always felt a little klunky.

Well, you’ve asked and we’ve listened. You can now integrate Multiple Choice Questions directly into any text message conversation to easily build polls, surveys, quizzes, or anything else you like.

SMS Conversation with Multiple Choice

  • Instant access to the results of your survey through the Mobile Commons Dashboard, your SMS Inbox, or via API
  • Users can reply A, B, C, etc or with the full answer to any question — we’re smart enough to handle both
  • Support for unlimited synonyms and misspellings of answers
  • Responses are instantly stored in a user’s profile for segmentation, targeting, mail merge, etc

Multiple Choice reporting

Setting up a survey is easy. When composing your text message conversation, just select “Multiple Choice Question” and enter the possible answers. Optionally save the results to a person’s profile. And that’s it! You can easily combine survey questions with free text question (e.g. “Reply with your name and address”)
